I'm Sam (jumbo), your Marketing Lead here at MetaKing Studios. I come from a background in AAA entertainment, I’ve been at MetaKing Studios since last March and I’m HYPED to be at BLOCKLORDS. 

We're ecstatic to announce the return of our Dev Diaries! Our intention is to give you a glimpse behind the scenes of BLOCKLORDS, to introduce the wider team, discuss upcoming features, and get in deep about the future and features of BLOCKLORDS.

Today, I'm excited to give you a hearty recap of our Community Beta! It’s been a whirlwind of a journey, and we're humbled that you've chosen to embark on this adventure with us.

A Quick Look Back at a Pivotal Year

Last year, we had some major milestones:

We announced the game and had significant presence and speaking slots at: GDC, NFTNYC, Pocket Gamer Connects, ETHTLV, Animoca Ventures Portfolio Dat, NFT Paris, Paris BLOCKCHAIN Week, DCentral & Gamescom!

📌 33 Regions Claimed: The challenge of ruling was met head-on by you, our Lords and Ladies. 33 regions came under your leadership, shaping the political landscape of BLOCKLORDS.

🦶 859 Settlers in Brutalius’ Region: Brutalius' Region emerged as the most populated region with a staggering 859 settlers. A remarkable achievement, indeed!

👩‍🌾 Farming 87 MILLION Resources: Resource gathering is a crucial aspect of BLOCKLORDS, and you proved your efficiency by farming a whopping 87 million resources during the Community Beta.

🏆 1.7 MILLION EXP Gathered by Founders: Our 100 Founders demonstrated their commitment, accumulating a total of 1,740,680 EXP during the first month alone.

👛 14,000 New Wallet Connections: Our blockchain integration saw a significant boost, with 14,000 new wallets linked to the game.

📯 200,000 Mentions on Social Media: We've become a popular topic on social media platforms, with 200,000 mentions. This buzz is helping BLOCKLORDS reach new audiences every day.

🤯 5 MILLION Impressions: Our content made a big impact, receiving 5 million impressions across various platforms.

📰 400 Press Features: BLOCKLORDS received an enormous amount of attention from the press, with 400 features helping us reach a staggering audience of 124 million.

📈 1407% Growth on Socials: Our social media platforms experienced exponential growth, with an increase of 1407% in followers and interactions.

📹 200+ Community Content: The creative prowess of our community shone through, with over 200 pieces of user-generated content about the game.
