We’ve had a great few weeks over at BLOCKLORDS HQ — we’re seeing some real growth in our community and have been overwhelmed by the excitement surrounding our project, so first and foremost… Thank you!

AVOCADO x BLOCKLORDS Partnership Announcement

We were delighted to announce our partnership with Avocado Dao last Monday — Avocado Dao is one of the largest and most successful players in the guild space. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have them onboard as a partner! KingdomBot LORD Update on Discord

Last week saw our second iteration and update of our Discord-based text game — KingdomBot.

After weeks of farming wheat, game users were rewarded with the chance to buy land and earn a new exclusive Discord role: Lord. The new Lord player role includes other responsibilities and bonuses, such as gifting sickles to Farmers to raise their potential wheat yield and thus earn profits via taxes!

Officially announcing the partnership of Delphi Digital and BLOCKLORDS , Jeremy Parris hit Twitter with a BLOCKLORDS thread that was even more impressive than his mustache! (Which is very impressive by the way.)

Delphi have proven themselves time and time again to be some of the most value-additive partners through Axie Infinity, Yield Guild Games and Immutable; we couldn’t be happier to have them by our side at BLOCKLORDS!

Not to mention… they may or may not have leaked some pre-alpha gameplay footage…

Needless to say, Blocklords is one of the games coming out in the future that I'm incredibly excited to play, and honored to have the chance to work on the project alongside their team of veterans.

Community Banner Design Competition

We’re cheating a bit here… because this is a “today” competition (not a week in summary post), but we figured you’d want to know all about it anyway.

The noble houses of BLOCKLORDS wear their coat of arms with pride — banners make up an important part of the game. ’Tis legend the design team at the BLOCKLORDS’ core roundtable this week may have their hands full, so travelers we invite you, our community, to design five of our house banner symbols!

How?

To appease the King, your art must be one solid color (lines or fill). Use your creativity and talents to claim your chance at having your design make it into the game! It can be anything you think might look cool; crown, bears foot, you name it — Our logo is just an example!

Please note that it is for the symbol ONLY and the flags have already been designed by our team to mount them on.

To enter, post your design in the #house-banners channel in the BLOCKLORDS Discord — remember to react and encourage other players’ designs as this will help the nobles decide their winners (one entry per person).

The winners will be rewarded with a whitelist spot to the BLOCKLORDS project and an official merch pack!

This competition will end on Thursday, 28th April 2022. Winners will be announced after the weekend on our social channels!
